Wheeler Farm Playgroup

Last week Dakota and I went to Wheeler Farm with some moms from my MOPS group. We had a lot of fun.

Silly Little Girl

So, the other day I was cleaning the house. Dakota kept saying "Mom, come here please." I went to look for her and found her in the laundry room. This is what she was doing.

What a silly little girl!                              

Great Salt Lake

A couple weekends ago we went to the Great Salt Lake for some family fun.

It was a beautiful day.                               

 

          

James and Dakota had lots of fun exploring and walking                 

around in the salty water.  

           

         

Dakota posed by some wood posts. I think they were                

part of an old dock at one time.   

                 

It was fun to get out and go to the "beach". Now we're                          

off for some ice cream.                                    

So Far This Month

So, it's been awhile since my last post. I thought I would update everyone with what's been happening.

Sunday, Aug. 15 we went hiking with some friends up Bell's Canyon.

It was a steep hike, but we made it to the reservoir.

Everyone had a great time.

Wednesday, Aug. 11 Dakota and I took Michelle and Athena to get some groceries. Koda found this little shopping cart and had to use it.

Monday, Aug. 2 we got in a minor car accident. A truck turned right into us.

Sad little car. We had it at the shop for a week. Luckily we didn't have to pay for anything.

Dakota's First "Real" Haircut

I usually cut her hair myself, but then it ends up too short and uneven. I finally took her in to get it done "professionally".

This is her hair before.

She was soooo excited to get her hair cut. Her face just lit up.

Here we go. Snip snip.

It was hard for her to look down. She wanted to see everything.

All done. She got 1 inch taken off. It's not much, but now it's even. :)
